SIVA is leading the cannabis industry through six divisions that power the full potential of your business. Because of his comprehensive understanding and deep insight into the nuances, regulations and trends of the cannabis industry, Mr. He continues to provide critical insight and depth to the evolving cannabis industry, on a local, state and national level, having testified in front of the CA Dept.
Experience and Expertise In Business
Avis was one of the early entrants into this newly legalized industry. His first foray was a cultivation operation with 4 lights at a small local private collective. Word of his expertise spread and by he was consulting for collectives throughout southern California, eventually quitting legal and insurance work to focus on cannabis opportunities full time. By adding manufacturing, dispensing, and consulting to his repertoire, Avis had established a healthy grasp on the inner workings of the industry. By , he was overseeing cultivation operations totaling 52, square feet, along with 6 dispensaries. That year, Massachusetts established the first statewide merit-based application process, offering a limited number of licenses and providing Avis the opportunity to expand his consultation services nationwide. He has assisted cannabis companies with raising over 8 figures and has secured licensing agreements for 3 companies to expand nationally.
The Company will also be releasing a breadth of detailed guidance documents and insight into the most pressing issues in the cannabis industry in the coming weeks. After much consideration and after speaking with my team, I have made the decision to begin the reopening process at SIVA and begin the transition back to business operations. As we begin to return to normal business operations and bring our employees back to work, our in-person office hours will be limited and in-person meetings will be by appointment only. With the exception of in-person office meetings, we will be available during normal business hours for calls and online video meetings such as Zoom. For the near future and until the general social distancing guidelines are lifted, SIVA will be taking every precaution available to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and our clients. This includes temperature checks, hand sanitizers, face masks, and common sense. We will have the CDC guidelines in the front reception area when you enter for additional information on what you can do to limit your exposure. As general guidelines and stay at home orders are lifted over the next couple of months and as businesses begin to pick up the pieces to rebuild, now more than ever, it is critical that the cannabis industry refocuses its efforts and comes out of this situation with a renewed sense of purpose, determination and resolve. As individuals, as companies, and as an industry, we have weathered good times and bad, have had our ups and downs, and experienced everything in between. The cannabis industry can leverage the current circumstances to come out on the other side stronger and more unified than when the pandemic began.
